HBCU BAND REGISTRATION FOR THE

MEGA 5TH QUARTER & HALF-TIME REVIEW

   Thank you for your time and interest in being a part of the HBCU LABOR DAY FEST & STEAM COLLGE FAIR in our designed world in the metaverse.  

   I am Adrienne Brown, founder of March for College, Inc. (founded in 2010). A member of the Norfolk State University Alumni Band. While attending NSU on my music scholarship, I was 1st chair flute in the NSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble, also a Hot Ice Dancer in the NSU Spartan Legion Band. I attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts High School in Washington, D.C. and studied music.

   We are inviting your band to take part in the virtual HBCU LABOR DAY FEST & STEAM COLLEGE FAIR by providing us with videos of your bands September 3, 2022 HALF-TIME & 5TH QUARTER performances, so we can play them during our HBCU BANDS MEGA 5TH QUARTER & HALF-TIME REVIEW segment at end of our college fair. In addition, you are also welcome to stream in live, or a special recording for the college fair. We decided on video since we understand (by experience) this is the bands 1st season game.

   Your band director and or drum majors are welcome to speak in our 9/5/22 1:00p panel on Education/Band/Career in Arts/Music. Please email me personally at [email protected] if you are interested. FREE to submit video/panelist.

   Moreover, we are offering virtual booths for an entire YEAR in our designed virtual world! You have the option to either share with your university recruitments booth (if they have signed up already/contact them), or you may purchase your University Band booth to recruit to students for a year as part of the COLLEGES IN METAVERSE PROGRAM.

ABOUT OUR COLLEGES IN METAVERSE PROGRAM

   Make a daily connection with potential college students through the COLLEGES IN METAVERSE PROGRAM. A ONE-YEAR community program to recruit high school students daily through the 3D world and our community site. Also, connecting HBCU students, alumni, staff, and family to gather anytime for homecoming, socials, presentations, and college fairs. With multiple viruses, this program adds a new technological and immersive style of recruitment that's safe, free (attendees), and cost effective for college/band recruiters without travel. This one year program includes bonuses!

~ 2-college fairs (9/2-5/22 & 3/25/23). 

~ 1-YEAR College Band Virtual Booth on the 3D virtual Colleges in Metaverse Island in Altspace- www.AltVR.com, with informational banners & logos. Also shared office space through 8/25/23.

~ Access to conference rooms.

~ 1-YEAR access to www.HBCUontheYARD.com (HBCU’s community site) with own Group Page through 8/25/23.

~ TWO, 3-hour band recruitment events you present in the Colleges in Metaverse Island, and more!

   This is your opportunity to step boldly into the tech world of VR and meet the gamers/tech/music students where they are! You do not want to be left behind in the advancing metaverse. Also together, we can encourage students not familiar with VR to dive in. Often, the introduction leads to a future career.  VR college fairs also fills the void for students not living near HBCU’s to visit. The founder of March for College, Inc. designed this program in 2019, invested in the program, the virtual world, and now launching it into the metaverse.

  Your college band may be a part of the 1st college fair in the metaverse! Once in a lifetime opportunities are rare. So, let's innovate together. We could be making history in the tech world together for the HBCU's!
